Description

Our next working bee date is on Sunday 24 June 2018 from 9:20 am -12:30 pm.

We will plant the Woolly Tea-trees and River Bottlebrush shrubs grown by one of our members Irene Cook, in the Stream bank shrubland EVC, following the removal of boxthorns by Melbourne Water at Pinkerton Flat this year.

Afterwards we will go on an exploratory walk, viewing the naturally occurring wildflowers, climbers and the native raspberry and progress of weed control works by the contractors on the native grassland and escarpment above,

Everyone is welcome,

Participants meet at the Mt. Cottrell Road gate entrance to Pinkerton Forest, see Melway reference Map 221 H 7.

Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this naturally beautiful area.
