NOTMAN Matthew
SHEEHY Justin
ARBUTHNOTT Stuart

MERCIECA Elizabeth

Students worked with Pinkerton Landcare and Environment Group, (PLEG), to remove rubbish from the banks of the Werribee River. Students worked from Western Water's Sorbiton Park in South Melton.

It was a good chance for students to see the efforts of Mowbray College students in years past that had planted poa and shrubs on the banks and flats. Students removed guards from shrubs, found plenty of shot gun pellets and a few golf balls.

Plenty of rubbish was gathered and a few rabbit holes were smashed by enthusiastic boys.

On Monday the whole school helped to clean up its own grounds and 11DE won a chocolate cake for collect the most rubbish. Well done!
